Referral Process and Lifecycle

Referrals, which are one of the key benefits of HelpHive's Referral Pro Plans, follow a standard process outlined below:

  1. A referral is received when a direct connect call is made or a voice message or text message are delivered to your Referral Center.  You have up to 7 days to determine if the referral is qualified.
  2. if a referral is not qualified, you would mark it as such, and referral would go into a queue for review by the HelpHive team.  Once we've reviewed the referral and assuming our team agrees with the business's assessment, the referral is marked as not qualified and the business is charged nothing.
  3. If the referral is either marked as qualified or ages past the 7 day window, then it is considered a qualified referral. During this qualification period, businesses should quickly determine if the customer is seeking their service in earnest.
  4. The qualified referral is now due for an estimate.   By default, you have 2 weeks (which you can extend) in which to enter a job estimate or mark the referral as "not resulting in a job."
  5. If you mark the qualified referral as not resulting in a job, the request goes into a queue for review by the HelpHive team.  Once we've reviewed the referral and approved, the nominal Qualified Referral Fee (refer to the details of your plan) would be added to your monthly bill.
  6. After the job estimation period, you have 2 weeks (which you can extend) in which to enter the job revenue or mark the referral as "not resulting in a job."
  7. If you mark the qualified referral as not resulting in a job, we treat the situation exactly as #5 above.
  8. Otherwise, if you enter a job revenue amount or the referral ages past the time window in #6 above, the Job Commission Fee (refer to the details of your plan) will be added to your monthly bill.
