HelpHive is an online social-powered marketplace connecting homeowners and local home service professionals … for work including home repair, home improvement, home maintenance, home cleaning, landscape and yard and more. Share your feedback, ask and provide advice, get recommendations from your community and your friends … to help you find the right local help!

Is HelpHive free?

Yes! HelpHive is free for individuals and businesses can have a free customized business page!

Why use HelpHive?

Why not just email or “Facebook” your friends or ask them in person for their recommendations? Here are a few advantages over traditional word-of-mouth:

• You can see your friends detailed reviews and recommendations when you need them and in the context of when you’re searching for the right person hire
• You can productively now reach out to include feedback from a broader group of friends because you don’t have to interrupt them with your referral request.
• Your friends get to see your detailed reviews and recommendations and don’t have to bother you each time. Think: 20-30 friends asking how often?
• If your friends don’t have a recommendation, then you have the detailed feedback from the rest of the local community (e.g. your friends may not know a handyman who knows how to repair a built-in Pachinko machine)

Is HelpHive available outside of Puget Sound area?

Our initial launch is for the Puget Sound area. If you want to be notified when we are launching in another area, request to be notified.

Do I have to register in order to post content to HelpHive?

Yes. You are welcome to search and browse business profiles, services advice, contact a business, share a business profile with a friend, post a new advice question and much more without setting up a HelpHive account. If you’d like to contribute content to the community including business feedback (reviews, ratings, badges, recommendations, etc.), post responses to community questions, see your friends’ feedback on businesses, configure and manage personalization options and message another member, you will need to setup an account.
